Counter Joy With These 5 Heroes

In this article, we are going to learn how to counter Joy. The newest assassin in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is Joy, the Flash of Miracle. She is swift and can easily dash across the battlefield several times, much like Wanwan. Her talent set has a special catch....

Beginning with the Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.10 Update, the MOONTON Games team hopes to balance out some overpowered characters, including Beatrix, Valentina, Natalia, and Yin. They are also balancing some overpowered heroes and optimizing the heroes with lower pick rates and popularity. A new Magic-type Assasin hero named Joy will join the fray due to this patch update. Before they are formally included in the Original Server, these modifications will be worked on in the Advanced Server.

A Talent System panel that resembles the Builds section will be added for the player’s sake. Additionally, there will be a choice to return to the initial screen. There is now a Talent Essence Shop where players may buy various in-game effects for unique core talents. Let’s examine the Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.10 Update in more detail.

Patch 1.7.10 – Joy, A New Hero

A new Magic-type assassin hero has been added to the Advanced Server. Joy has excellent mobility, blink skills, and CC immunity with a purify-like effect. Let’s analyze her capabilities.

Joy, a new hero

Abilities

Passive – Humph, Joy’s Angry

passive-skill-joy-mlbb

Joy becomes Angry! For 4s each time, her skill damages a non-minion enemy, during which she gains 100% extra movement speed and 16% Damage Reduction. This effect can only be triggered once every 4s on the same enemy. Joy’s Basic Attack deals 80 (+30% Total Physical Attack) (+80% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage.

Look, Leonin Crystal! CD – 5.0

skill-1-joy-mlbb

Joy summons a Leonine Crystal at the target location, dealing 200/220/240/260/280/300 (+40% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to nearby enemies. The Leonine Crystal lasts 2.4s and can be used as a springboard for Meow, Rhythm of Joy!

Meow, Rhythm of Joy! CD – 10.0

skill-2-joy-mlbb

Joy dashes in the target direction, dealing 230/255/280/305/330/355 (+80% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies in her path. Hitting an enemy or the Leonin Crystal from Look, Leonine Crystal allows Joy to enter Beat Time!

For 1s, during which she’s immune to control effects and cast this skill again (up to 5 times). If cast again within 0.8-1s, Meow, Rhythm of Joy! Deals 60% increased Damage (can stack). Players can also Turn up the volume and dance to the rhythm of Joy.

Ultimate – Ha, Electrifying Beats! CD – 28.0

skill-3-joy-mlbb

Ha, Electrifying Beats! unlocks after Joy casts Meow, Rhythm of Joy! 5 times in succession. Joy removes all control effects on her and releases the stored energy, gaining 30% extra Movement Speed and Slow Immunity for 4s and dealing 230/260/290 (+40% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to nearby enemies 8 times over the duration. Each Meow, Rhythm of Joy! cast on the beat increases this skill’s damage by 25%. Enemies hit by this skill multiple times take reduced damage (to as low as 60%).

Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.10 Update Hero Changes

Since the Penetration algorithm adjustment in June of last year, Fixed Penetration has grown dramatically. The burst potential of assassin heroes is further enhanced by the burst-oriented talents in the new Talent system. They could previously only choose “indirect” Assassin symbol damage-boosting skills. After much deliberation, players have chosen to maintain Fixed Penetration’s early-game power while reducing its domination in the mid-to late-game by raising the defense scaling of all heroes.

Defense Gains for Physical and Magic: +0.5 (+7 at Maximum Level)
Fixed Penetration-focused builds may still help players establish an early advantage with this update, but the effect will gradually fade as the match progresses. Meanwhile, squishy heroes will now receive a respectable durability boost merely by purchasing the Defense Boots.

Gusion

The skill and recall animations for Gusion have been improved. When he casts multiple talents simultaneously, a unique combination animation has been added. Now, Gusion can go through the battlefield in a calmer, quicker manner.

Passive – Dagger Specialist

  • The effect has been altered so that it now triggers with every skill fired and stacks up to four times. With each additional layer, the Basic Attack boosting effect gets stronger.

Lesley

Passive – Lethal Shot

  • Instead of being converted to Crit Chance, Fixed Physical Penetration is now changed to Percentage Physical Penetration.

Tactical Grenade

  • The animation and visual effects have been redone, and the casting range has been slightly expanded.

Ultimate- Ultimate Snipe

  • The indication and visual effects have been changed, and a passive effect that raises Lesley’s Crit Chance has been introduced. This effect scales with level.

Kagura

Kagura’s base Magic Defense has been adjusted so that it is now the same as most heroes.

  • Base Magic Defense: 10 >> 15
  • Base HP: 2556 >> 2496

Faramis

  • Experimental changes: Simplified the skill mechanics and enhanced the casting experience of Faramis’ first skill. The adversaries will have more time to respond.

Shadow Stampede

  • When Faramis leaves the state or performs a manual recast, he draws opponents close to him.
  • The effective range of the final pull has decreased while the contact distance has increased. All enemies within the range will all be pushed back.

Yin

The time before Yin can draw his target into his domain has grown longer. They might have more time to change their positions or get away from Yin. When players are expelled from the domain, this will also help them avoid Yin.

My Turn

  • Before the object is dragged inside the domain, the wait has been lengthened.

Masha

Masha’s Max HP and lifesteal at high HP have been slightly lowered.

Ancient Strength – Passive

  • Physical Lifesteal at 2 HP Bars: 25% >> 15%
  • Physical Lifesteal at 1 HP Bar: Total value remains unchanged.

  • HP Growth: 165 >> 135

Granger

Basic Attack has enhanced the strengthening effect of Granger’s Skill 2. This will also increase his skill cap.

Rondo

  • Base HP Regen: 160-285 >> 200-300

Jawhead

Jawhead’s early to mid-game damage has been further enhanced.

Smart Missiles

  • Base Damage: 120-220 >> 150-250
